Tinashe opened our third-eye on the dancefloor
Child actor with her regular role on Cartoon Network TV, front singer of the girl group "The Stunners" in the late 2010s, Tinashe lived many lives but finally found one of freedom, where she can fully exploit her many talents.
On stage last night, dressed in a pure Y2K outfit and a pink glitter makeup glam, Tinashe played songs from her latest album, “333”, the second she released as an independent artist. Some older classics like “Die a little bit” were also added to the jam, to our delight. “333” is an album of self-discovery and spirituality that doesn’t lack danceable & lip-synch-able tracks, a portal to a third-eye opening on the dancefloor. Matching the earthy and psychedelic aesthetic of the album, visions of chromosomes, viruses, mushrooms, and flowers constituted the background of Tinashe’s incredible show, in an incongruous yet captivating match.
Tinashe has recently been more vocal about her bisexuality, following her iconic 2020 Gay Times interview. Last month, the rhythmic-pop artist was performing at a benefit for the New York City Gay & Lesbian Anti-Violence Project. Having so many female pop stars more open about their sexuality has been a highlight of those last few years that we love to see!
With more dates coming in Europe this month, we hope her fabulous performances will help to give her the visibility she deserves overseas. We can definitely see a future of bouncin’ to 333.
