2022 marked the launch of the first International LGBTIQ+ Entrepreneurship Think Tank initiated by BØWIE, bringing together 7 leading organizations from Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe), America (USA, Mexico), Africa (South Africa) and Asia (Thailand, India). The goal of the Think Tank? To exchange best practices and challenges encountered by stakeholders in the ecosystem to strengthen local support for LGBTIQ+ entrepreneurial initiatives and maximize their impact.

BØWIE was launched in 2019 as Europe's first incubator for gender and LGBTIQ+ entrepreneurial projects. Since its creation, 332 social entrepreneurs, activists, artists and small business owners from 12 European countries were able to benefit from tangible support within a community of peers and experts.
StartOut was founded in San Francisco in 2009 and has more than 15,000 members. Their incubation program welcomes a new virtual cohort every 6 months. Since 2017, 44 start-ups built by LGBTIQ+ entrepreneurs have been supported.
Dreilinden promotes the inclusion of gender diversity by allocating funds to projects in this area and creating cooperation networks. Based in Germany, Dreilinden is particularly active in Global South and East countries and has produced many well-known reports on the financing of LGBTIQ+ initiatives.
Hil Foundation focuses on equal opportunities and gender education, especially for children and young people. It specializes in supporting not-for-profit entrepreneurial projects and creating cooperation networks in Austria.
Colmena 41 connects and inspires the LGBTIQ+ community and allies through events, research projects, and collaborations between different professional sectors in Mexico. It generates knowledge, data, and contact to boost and make visible the LGBTIQ+ community.
Equal Asia Foundation advocates for Sexual Orientations and Gender Identities inclusive Sustainable Development Goals engagement by incubating innovative inclusion projects in Thailand and India. Through a rights-based and innovative approach they address the challenges that LGBTIQ+ communities in Asia face and build resilience.
The Q Networq advances African LBTQ+ women & non-binary entrepreneurs through access to network, business coaching and funding. Its approach aims to economically empower for the creation of generational wealth.
