When visual poetry meets queer self portraits
David Uzochuku is a queer Austrian-Nigerian visual artist and a force to be reckoned with. He started out as a teenager, taking self-portraits. He soon went professional and has worked with artists like Pharell Williams and FTA twigs and collaborated with Adobe Photoshop.
David’s photos are otherworldly, often depicting humans connecting with and becoming part of nature. Truly a master of visual poetry at such a young age. And his advice to finding inner peace as a queer person: “The more you stand up for yourself, the more joy you find.”
